Become a volunteer with Valor HospiceCare If you want to make a difference in the lives of others, volunteer with Valor Hospice Care

There are many ways to help hospice patients and to provide support to their family members.

• Provide companionship • Sing or play music • Read a book •
• Provide translation • Prepare a meal • Light gardening • Shopping •
• Provide respite for a caregiver •

If you have office experience, you can also help with the following:

• Answer phones at the office • Prepare & send mailings •
• Call patients and family members to ask how they’re doing •

All volunteers are provided training and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to help ensure health and safety.

Volunteer training will help you grow, learn new skills and build your resume.

By volunteering, you can make a BIG difference in the lives of others by offering the greatest gifts - your precious time and attention.
