We are here every step of the journey.
Valor HospiceCare provides grief education and bereavement services to our families and the community.
A comprehensive 13-month bereavement program is offered to family members and loved ones of the patients who we have served.
We know that the death of a loved one can cause intense distress to those who shared close relationships with the deceased. We believe appropriate support to families and caregivers as they anticipate their loss and continued support after the patient’s death results in a more healthful and gentle journey through grief.
To assure that appropriate services and resources are available to the family, our Bereavement Care Team assesses coping skills and support systems within the family unit before and at the time of death.
We are committed to providing quality end-of-life care to all whose lives are affected.
Families may receive visits, telephone calls, and letters from our professional staff on a regular basis
- Information and referral sources are made available upon need and/or request
